Buying a larger property or estate means making sure you have the right secure fencing option. You want something that doesn't look industrial, but at the same time it must maintain the security of your property by keeping out unannounced guests. This may mean discussing options with your fencing contractor like Amazing Fencing to determine what may be an ideal solution. Before you do that, it wouldn't hurt to have a few ideas in mind. Here are a few to get you started.
Automated Gates
Automated gates are the ideal option if you want to use something like a card swipe or keypad entry method. The code or card is used and the gate will open automatically to allow visitors onto the property. There are a few things to remember when you decide to get one of these gates. Among these points are to have a suitable backup energy source. If the power goes out, and the gate is operated on an electrical energy feed, then you may end up unable to open the gate to get onto your own property. Also consider the type of entry method you want to use and what may be easier for members of the household and guests.
Camera Based Security Gates
Camera based security gates allow you to have two options regarding who is admitted onto the property and how. The first is the ability to use a sensor method that will scan cars and allow the car to enter the property. This is usually done with a decal that is placed on the front of the car that is recognized by the security cameras. Another option is to have the security camera at the gate set-up to a security room or shack. The person operating this camera will confirm the guest and open the gate through automated controls.
Remote Control Gates
If you don't want something that is based on a keypad, card swipe, or camera feature then you may want to consider a remote control gate. These gates work on the same idea as a remote controlled garage door. Members of the household will have a remote control that is simply pointed and clicked in the direction of the gate. The gate recognizes the command from the remote and opens the gate. The gate will automatically close after the car has cleared the gate pass.
These are three ideal options to consider if you have a larger property or estate. For more ideas and pricing, contact your local fencing contractors.

Our dogs are lots of fun and very energetic, but they also have a scary bark. It's great to make the house more secure, but I am always worried that they'll scare people just passing by the house, so we have a tall fence to keep the dogs in. It makes people feel better if they can't see the dogs, and it makes me feel better to know that the dogs are safe and secure in our yard. This blog is all about keeping your yard secure so that your dogs will be safe inside and don't make the neighbours feel nervous.
